Double-Handed & High Dependency Care
As our service continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Care Professional to join our excellent team, with a particular focus on double-handed and high dependency care.
This is an important role within our team. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding, person-centred care while providing guidance, support and leadership to other members of the care team.
About the role
We are looking for someone who has proven experience in double-handed care and who is confident supporting people with high dependency care needs.
Excellent manual handling skills and safe moving and handling techniques are essential. You must be confident using appropriate moving and handling equipment and be able to demonstrate safe, respectful and dignified practice at all times.
Excellent rates of pay
£14.00 per hour Monday–Friday £15.00 per hour Saturday–Sunday
Travelling time and mileage paid
As a Senior Care Professional, you will play a key role in:
- Leading double-handed and high dependency care visits.
- Supporting new Care Professionals when they are introduced to high dependency care packages.
- Working closely with management to ensure new team members are appropriately introduced, supported and monitored.
- Mentoring colleagues and sharing your knowledge, experience and practical skills.
- Promoting excellent manual handling and safe working practices.
- Monitoring the quality of care being delivered and providing feedback to management.
- Supporting colleagues to follow care plans, risk assessments and agreed care procedures.
- Leading by example and maintaining the high standards expected by Tender-Care.
- Building positive and professional relationships with the people we support and their families.
- Supporting management with the ongoing development of the care team.

- Reliable, responsible and committed to high standards of care.
- Confident sharing knowledge and supporting less experienced colleagues.
- Able to demonstrate excellent professional boundaries and judgement.
- Flexible and willing to work weekends.
- In possession of a full UK driving licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Willing to complete all required training and maintain their knowledge and skills.
- Able to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
